Osteobeth Health & Wellbeing Clinic – Terms and Conditions

Appointment Availability

Appointments are scheduled according to your individual treatment plan. All patients are treated on a strict one-to-one basis within their allocated timeslot. Please be aware that the practitioner reserves the right to discontinue treatment if clinically deemed appropriate at any time.

The clinic also reserves the right, at its sole discretion and in accordance with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) guidelines, to decline treatment without detailed explanation. This typically occurs only in circumstances where there may be a personal, professional, or commercial conflict of interest.

While the clinic strives to honour all appointment requests, it is recommended that patients confirm or decline appointments via email as soon as possible. Unconfirmed appointments may be reallocated to other patients if necessary. All appointments are scheduled through the Cliniko booking system and confirmed via email or text message. If no confirmation is received, the appointment is not secured, and patients should contact the clinic for verification.

Cancellations and Non-Attendance

The clinic operates a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please notify the clinic via telephone or email if you are unable to attend your appointment. Failure to provide at least 24 hours’ notice, or non-attendance, will result in a charge of 100% of the appointment fee. This policy ensures that the appointment can be offered to another patient with adequate notice.

Late Arrivals

Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their treatment time shortened or be refused treatment, depending on the schedule of subsequent appointments. Any treatment provided under these circumstances will be adjusted to fit the remaining appointment time.

Payment

All payments are due at the end of each appointment via card machine. In the rare event that payment is not received, patients will be given 24 hours to settle the balance via the clinic’s business bank account before referral to the clinic’s financial advisor.

Illness

If, in the practitioner’s professional opinion a patient is too unwell for treatment upon arrival, the appointment will need to be rescheduled. Patients unsure of their suitability for treatment are encouraged to contact the clinic prior to their appointment for advice. Each case will be assessed individually.

Referrals, Promotions, and Discounts

Any referral codes, promotions, or discounts must be quoted at the time of booking and can only be used within the specified timescale. These cannot be combined with other offers.

Health Insurance

Patients with health insurance covering osteopathy treatment are required to pay for appointments in full at the time of visit. A receipt will be provided for reimbursement claims. Payment must be made by credit or debit card.

Data Protection

As a healthcare provider, the clinic maintains records relating to your care. All patient information is securely stored in the cloud and is accessible only to the practitioner. Records will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Hygiene Protocols

The clinic adheres to rigorous hygiene standards to ensure patient and staff safety. All clinical and reception areas are regularly sanitised, and all measures comply with best practice guidance, including post-COVID-19 safety protocols.

Clinic Access

As you drive into Picket Piece from Andover, enter the first mini roundabout and turn right onto Locksbridge Road. Follow the road to the top, where you will see a One Stop Shop on your right and three individual car parks on your left. You may park in any of the car parks.

To reach the Osteobeth Health & Wellbeing Clinic, cross the road on foot, walk past the One Stop Shop along the path, and continue to the end of the building. The clinic will be on your right.

The front door remains locked at all times for security. Patients should use the intercom and press the button for “Treatment Room One” upon arrival. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early, as the practitioner may be with other patients or on a break. While we strive to keep to schedule, occasional delays may occur due to the nature of the work. Your patience and understanding in these circumstances are greatly appreciated.

Parking:

Patients may use any of the three designated car parks associated with the clinic. A car park management system is in place and patients are required to register their vehicle registration number on the iPad provided. Failure to register may result in fines, which the clinic cannot accept responsibility for. If a fine is issued, do not pay it immediately; contact the clinic for guidance.
